Travel Bike Frame

This was a side project I have been interested in pursuing for several years. Traveling with a full size bicycle can be unreasonably costly and cumbersome. There are a number of travel frames available, however most use heavy coupling devices, which often require a specialized tool to remove and connect. This design borrows a concept similar to the travel frame from Ritchey Bicycles, where a seatpost is used as part of the upper binding mechanism. The lower mechanism connects the chainstays to the bottom bracket shell with two clamping points.
